ADHD Assessments

If you might be concerned that you have ADHD finding the right support is key. Jaclyne is a UKAAN qualified, experienced adult ADHD assessor who provides thorough, compassionate ADHD assessments for adults throughout the UK. Assessments are fully remote, offering comfort and convenience for each individual. Jaclyne’s approach is not only clinically sound; she uses her therapeutic skills to make the process personable, respectful, and built around your individual needs.

The process occurs over three appointments, as well as a brief phone discussion to determine suitability for the assessment. The assessment is conducted over a structured video consultation. You’ll be asked about your personal and developmental history, how you function day to day, and specific challenges related to focus, impulsivity, organisation, or restlessness. Jaclyne uses validated screening tools alongside clinical expertise to ensure a well-rounded, accurate assessment. Additionally, a parent, caregiver or close friend or family member will be asked to attend part of the assessment as an informant to corroborate information provided in the assessment.

Any diagnosis of ADHD will be in line with the National Institute for and Health Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines for the diagnosis and management of ADHD. Many institutions and government departments recognise ADHD diagnosis from a suitably qualified private practice psychologist such as Jaclyne. However, if the outcome of the assessment is intended for a specific purpose, it is the responsibility of the client to ensure such a diagnosis from Jaclyne is accepted for said purpose.
